You may have noticed that the government is super keen for the UK to lead the way in promoting green renewable energy sources. The Green Homes Grant launched in October 2020, is all about home efficiency and particularly encouraging householders to migrate away from burning fossil fuels such as oil or gas, instead harnessing the power of the sun and wind through renewables to underpin the electricity grid in the UK. Air conditioning systems, as well as cooling in the summer, provide a very cost effective and renewable alternative to heating your home using electricity rather than gas or oil.

F-Gas
Air conditioning units use fluorinated greenhouse gases or F-gases. The EU regulates the use of these gases in air conditioning systems. The regulations state that people who work with F gases must hold appropriate licenses and certifications.
All UK Energy Services engineers are F-GAS certified.
